And with it’s desirable location right by Poole Park and only a short distance from Poole Harbour & Sandbanks beaches, we could see their vision. However due to it being previously rented out long term, it was in need of a lot of modernisation.
Everything was stripped out, a new insulated tongue & groove ground floor with underfloor heating was installed. We knocked through from the kitchen to the dining room, to create an open plan living space at the back of the house. All new electrics, fully insulated & plastered throughout with new windows, flooring, doors & furniture and a modern kitchen & utility.
In the living room the client asked for a chimney breast with inset tv & speaker, plus a triple sided glass fire with floating plinth (which they had seen on our website from a previous client’s project)
and it certainly adds a wow factor to that area that they were looking for. Plus in the master ensuite, the client’s have opted for a large steam / shower room with LEDs and speakers to seriously relax in of an evening. All in all once complete, it will be a fantastic upgrade on what was there before.
