The plans were to knock through from the dining area to the kitchen to create an open plan space and divide off the original breakfast area to form a new children’s playroom. A wider opening to the rear terrace was created for French doors and a strange wrap around first floor landing removed to generate a gorgeous double height entrance hall. We installed a beautifully designed kitchen together with two new bathrooms to the first floor, revolutionising the way this family enjoys their home.

Externally, the dated arched central window was squared off, the render board and hung tiles removed from the dormers and replaced with weatherboard cladding and new vertical sliding sash widows fitted. A new front door and a fresh coat of paint inside and out completes the makeover.
