HOUSE REFURBISHMENT

Purchased over 4 years ago as a seaside retreat from a busy business life in Cambridgeshire, Brightwater House still had a firm foot in the 1970’s.

It’s new custodians had considered extending, but in the end opted for a comprehensive renovation, top to toe.

William Bowley Projects were brought in to take over from another contractor following the rip out, to implement the first fix of plumbing & electrics and to fit out all of the high quality finishes throughout the property. With the clients aspirations to really hit a top level look and finish, we are proud to have been selected to fulfil this contract and exercise this opportunity to showcase our skills.

William Bowley Projects, the ‘Nicks’, stepped in and took over our refurbishment part way through, and impressed us from the start with their cheerful efficiency. The project, for various reasons, had stalled at a low point (maximum mess and zero habitability) and it was a great relief to hand it over to two such capable people, who very quickly presented us with a clear and costed plan to complete the work.

The Nicks are very positive, optimistic and ‘can do’, they communicate well and discuss any problems and issues. They have high standards, expect the same from their contractors, and don’t settle for anything they wouldn’t be happy to see in their own homes. They have been responsive over the inevitable ‘snags’ and worked incredibly hard to get us in for Christmas, Nick Crick working a lot of December overtime and even popping in for a few last minute tweaks on Christmas Eve. I can’t fault them, and would have no hesitation in recommending them.
