Built and owned by the same family since 1936 this terrace of cottages in the heart of the Devonshire countryside still retain many of their original features.

The middle of the three properties having been occupied by sitting tenants for the past 22 years had become vacant and the decision had been taken to renovate and sell. The property was in dire need of a new central heating system, full re-plumb & re-wire, and new kitchen and bathroom. With the addition of a new double doorway between the kitchen and dining room, the house will be far better suited to modern living. Upon completion, the house went immediately under offer privately to the second people to view at the full asking price – testament to the quality of the products and finishes installed.

Client Testimonial

I’m very happy to provide a testimonial for Nick Crick and Nick Turner and their refurbishment of Westfield, but must admit that I could be accused of bias since Nick Crick is my son!  However I have seen many of their projects and knew that they would do a great job on my house in Devon, which had previously been let and was in an extremely poor state of repair. They stripped the interior completely, opened the dining room into the kitchen, which improved the feeling of the house enormously. Preparation took a great deal of time because of the years of grime. The project was finished on time and on budget, and a great deal of expense was saved by their careful procurement and bargaining skills. Obviously communication was good, but this is one area where William Bowley excels, as you will see from the other testimonials on their site. The importance of this cannot be over estimated. Overall a really great job.
