William Bowley offer a complete design and implementation service from conception to completion. This encompasses working with their chosen architects, structural engineers and interior designers to create the best possible design. Once the layout and design is agreed, they drive the project through the build phase, removing the day-to-day hassle of running a project — including liaising with trades and suppliers and, when necessary, coordinating building control and utility providers.

The objective of the design phase is to get a feel for the scope of the project and produce working plans. William Bowley will liaise with each of the relevant professionals and authorities in order to align design aspirations into working drawings with the agreed sign-offs, permits and notices in place, in readiness to start the build.

The build phase covers 1st Fix (protection, clear-out and waste removal, structural work, windows and external doors, 1st fix carpentry, plumbing and electrics, internal plastering and external rendering) and 2nd Fix (kitchen and bathroom suite fitted, flooring and tiling, 2nd fix carpentry, plumbing and electrics, decorating and carpets, finishing, cleaning and waste removal).

Clients always benefit from the freedom of an open project specification: if they wish to add or remove items, the flexibility is there to do so, with the price agreed and adjusted accordingly.

Further to the actual building work, William Bowley will be responsible for the housekeeping of the site on a daily basis, ensuring the site is left secure for the client when left unattended.

The 3-step payment structure is designed to allow clients to commit financially with a 30% deposit, followed by 50% at the 1st Fix stage, and the remaining 20% upon completion (2nd Fix).

William Bowley will produce a schedule of works and agree the total price including a staged payment plan. At this point both parties sign the contract, and a copy of their Public Liability insurance is available upon client request.

In the event that additional items and/or works are requested during the course of the project, prices will be provided and agreed by both parties prior to their implementation.
